Kate Vargas & Eric McFadden are Sgt. Splendor. Their debut album, Occasions for Self-Congratulations is out now on Terminus Records. Sgt. Splendor has the dream rhythm section on their new record consisting of drummer Paulo Baldi (CAKE, The Claypool Lennon Delirium) and Widespread Panic bassist Dave Schools. The album also features appearances by Fishbone’s Angelo Moore, Talking Heads’ Jerry Harrison, Timbuk3’s Pat Macdonald, and Mike Anderson on upright bass. The band will take you on a journey into psych, blues, funk, twisted pop, and experimental rock.
